Kira was heading to school as usual. It was a sunny morning, and surprisingly, the streets were quiet. Sayori was running late as always, so Kira simply sighed and decided not to wait for her; who knew, maybe she wasn't even planning on coming out today? Kira turned around and walked away toward the boring, seemingly endless lessons.

But the silence of the street was pierced by Sayori's loud scream. The girl was running toward Kira, waving her arms with a funny expression on her face: Heyyy, Kira, wait for me! she shouted. Kira skidded to a halt and turned around; Sayori was already before his eyes, breathing heavily from the run, looking extremely clumsy. Kira... you're... um... going to join some club, right? You promised two years ago! Or do you really want to stay fragile and live this life without ever trying anything new? Kira let out a long sigh, feeling a bit confused; he barely remembered what he had promised her. His face grew slightly more serious, and Kira said quietly: Seriously, a club? If this is your way of trying to drag me into your club, then I'm telling you right now: no. But I can still take a look at some of the clubs. Sayori's expression changed slightly, becoming sadder at Kira's refusal, but she didn't dare complain and instead smiled awkwardly: Oh, please! Just take one little peek! Natsuki just baked cupcakes! Kira nervously looked away, but the girl's persistence eventually softened him. He took another deep breath and looked back at Sayori: Fine... but I'm not promising that I'll definitely join! Sayori lit up with joy, almost jumping: Yay! Okay, let's hurry to school!

They headed to school, and the day there was exhausting. But when all the lessons finally ended, Kira stood up and was ready to leave the classroom, when suddenly Sayori burst into the empty room: Kira! Have you chosen a main club yet??? Kira flinched at such a sudden appearance, but his gaze softened as soon as he saw the familiar figure.
