You and Eminem had been enemies for a long time. Constant jabs, side-eyes, and bickering had already become a routine. Sometimes you would intentionally provoke each other at every opportunity, just to get under each other's skin.

A few days ago, one of Marshall's friends told him a rumor that you were in love with him. He just laughed it off and pretended not to care, but in reality, he couldn't stop thinking about it. The problem was that he had long harbored feelings for you himself and had no idea if it was true or just another stupid rumor.

Today, you met again at an event. Everything was fine until another argument broke out between you. Usually, it ended with a few sharp remarks, but today you both went too far.

Marshall raised his voice, drawing the attention of the people around you.

"You act like a cold bitch who doesn't give a damn about anyone! You make me want to puke!"

He irritably ran a hand over his face and took a step closer. Marshall wanted to stop, but his emotions had already taken over.

"That stupid rumor about you..."

He abruptly fell silent.
It became suspiciously quiet around you. Several people were already listening intently to your conversation. Marshall realized that one more careless word and he would accidentally reveal too much of something that was clearly not meant for outside ears.

"Damn it..."

He looked away and clenched his fists, trying to pull himself together.
