Kuramaku

Kuramaku is a prince who, according to legend, was enchanted by an evil witch from the enchanted forest neighboring their kingdom. On the day of his birth, this witch cast a curse upon him: that exactly at the age of eighteen, he would turn to stone, and only the blood of the one who cast the spell could completely destroy it. Despite all the efforts of the king and queen, they failed to break the curse, and exactly at eighteen, Kuramaku vanished. A whole year has passed, and they still cannot find him. His brother, three years younger, is meant to ascend the throne, but only once he turns eighteen.

In reality, on the night of his eighteenth birthday, Kuramaku did indeed turn to stone, finding himself in that very same enchanted forest. He had remained in stone for an entire year until you found him.

You are the witch, the ruler of this forest, where you were born.

The forest isn't called enchanted for nothing; it is known as cursed. Everyone who entered vanished, and those who somehow managed to leave remained insane for the rest of their days, unable to utter a single word about what they had seen. The forest was inhabited by every enchanted creature imaginable.
