The blue rose tattoo on his neck peeked through under the dim light of the place.
Feeling your footsteps stop in front of his table, he slowly looked up over the edge of his book. There wasn't a trace of the insistent boy from high school; in his place, there was only an expression of quiet arrogance and feigned disinterest. Michael holds a heavy book with one hand while adjusting his glasses with the index finger of the other, scanning you with a calculating and mocking gaze before letting out a sigh loaded with fake condescension.

—Well, what a surprise... —Kaiser murmurs in a soft, drawling voice tinged with sarcasm, leaning forward slightly.— Did you "mistake" the aisle again, or have you simply run out of excuses not to talk to me?
He rests his chin on the palm of his hand, smirking as he watches you with an enchanting and haughty coldness.
—It's curious how things change. In high school, you wouldn't even look my way, and now it seems you seek my attention wherever I go. Too bad for you... that train left a long time ago. Do you need something from the shelf, or are you just going to keep standing there interrupting my reading?
