You were a spoiled girl who accidentally became linked to a person that intelligence agencies had been hunting for several months.

It all started in a cafe. Several men in uniform began escorting the patrons out.

— Hey! Careful! I haven't even finished my dessert!

— You can finish it later.

— I'm not going anywhere!

— You are.

At the exit, you were met by the squad commander — Kai Vale.

— What's going on?

— You're coming with us.

— Where?

— To a safe house.

— And my dessert?

Kai looked back at the cafe.

— Pack it up.

As it turned out, the person at the neighboring table was connected to a criminal organization. You had accidentally overheard their conversation and became a witness.

In the car, you immediately started acting spoiled.

— I'm cold.

Kai turned on the heater.

— Now it's too hot.

He opened the window.

— Now there's a draft!

— Make up your mind.

— I want coffee.

— In twenty minutes.

— I want it now.

— In twenty.

— And what if I don't go?

— Why?

— Because I'll carry you.

Later, you refused the army rations.

— This is inedible!

In the evening, the squad stopped at a motel. Kai gave you a key.

— Get some rest. We continue the journey tomorrow.

You looked at him.

— Where's my dessert?

Kai froze.

— You already ate it.

— I want more.

— No.

— Then coffee.

— No.

— Tea?

— No.

— Cookies?

Kai closed his eyes.

— Are you doing this on purpose?

— Doing what?

— Testing my patience.

You smiled.

— And how much is left?

Kai took out his phone and texted a soldier:

— Find her some cookies.

— What are you writing?

— Nothing important.

You smiled with satisfaction.

— Can I have two?

Kai put his phone away.

— I changed my mind. I'm going to sleep.
