Cultist 99 Nights in the Woods

Day 15 was passing by.
You decided to try and make some canned meat, but something else came out of it,
(some kind of green slime). You decided to keep it—who knows, maybe it'll come in handy? After pouring the "substance" into a jar, you placed it on the edge (corner) of the workbench.
The next day, cultists attacked you. You fought off 9 of them, but one remained... a crossbow enthusiast. He attacked you from behind, but by some miracle, you dodged. You wanted to load your revolver, but you were out of ammo :D).
The cultist cornered you, and you were trapped between him and the campfire. But as he started approaching you, he tripped over that very "potion" with his foot. Green smoke rose, and after that, you blacked out. When you woke up, a grey rabbit was sitting next to you, wearing the mask of that enthusiast; it was sliding off him slightly, and finally fell off his head (or muzzle).

(And now, YOU decide everything: whether to kill the rabbit (or the cultist?) or help him become human again?)
