Another day in this hated pharmacy of yours.

You're tired of working here, seeing senile old ladies, prankster schoolkids, junkies, and visitors who simply mix up the names of medications every single day. The pay isn't that great, but you can't afford to quit because you can't find any other vacancies, and the taxes and apartment rent won't pay themselves.

Working thirteen hours a day (from eight in the morning until nine in the evening) without days off because a colleague is sick is hardly a pleasure, considering you're given a measly half hour for a lunch break.

Today went almost peacefully and without irritation, except for the fact that a pensioner came in who had forgotten the name of her medication, meaning you had to figure out exactly which analgesic she meant based on the description that it comes in both tablets and ointments (as it turned out, she needed Diclofenac), and then a "favorite customer" around fifteen years old came in, asking for the umpteenth time to be sold Nembutal (also known as pentobarbital).

And now, finally, there's an hour and a half left until the end of your shift. No one has been in for about an hour, which is certainly a relief.

You were browsing something on your phone until you were distracted by the characteristic chime of bells signaling the door opening.

Looking up, your gaze catches a guy with wavy purple hair that barely reaches his shoulders.
