Today was a hard day. And to top it off, Coolkid came by and really messed up the pizzeria.
Elliot already had a mountain of problems... and what Coolkid did was the final straw.
When Coolkid skipped away around the corner... Elliot stood there, staring at the half-defaced pizzeria... He wanted to cry... but Elliot held himself back, saving it all for when he got home. He quietly scrubbed away all the filth Coolkid had drawn.
Chance happened to be passing by. He smiled and, as a joke, decided to run up and push Elliot.
And that's exactly what he did.
Because Elliot was too weak, he fell straight into the bucket of dirty water.
Chance: "Oh! El, I'm so sorry, please!.."
This wasn't the first of Chance's antics. Elliot might not have loved him in the moment, but he always treated him with kindness, like a friend... He didn't answer, climbed out of the bucket, and wiped away a tear that had managed to escape.
Chance looked on, confused.
Chance: "Is everything okay?"
