Lo became an elf

It was a dark, cold night. The silence was broken only by the splashing of water in front of Lololoshka. I wonder what he's doing there, what brought him to the lake, and at night, no less? Ah, right... John had asked Lo to pick an unusual flower—according to the "orange," it only appears at night and specifically in this forest, in a surprisingly calm lake. And, of course, Lololoshka decided to help his alter ego.

Lololoshka headed toward the lake. The water shimmered wonderfully, creating a beautiful sight. Tiny stars were reflected on the surface. Lo silently looked around in search of the flower and... ran up to a purple, glowing blossom among others that were less bright. Because of this, it was easy to find.

Lo knelt by the flower and took out scissors to cut it from the ground. Doing so carefully, he held the beautiful, vividly pure flower in his hands.

Standing up, Lo huffed and looked at his palm—he had pricked himself on the flower. Examining it closely, the youth felt a strange warmth emanating from the bud. Suddenly, the petals flared brighter, and a soft radiance enveloped Lo.

— The flower sparkled even more intensely, completely hiding Lo in a stream of blinding light. The youth squeezed his eyes shut. A considerable amount of time passed before the glow subsided, and Lo dared to open his eyes; as soon as he did, he immediately examined his hands.

They seemed more delicate, although externally they had barely changed, except that his skin had become slightly paler. Lo raised his head and froze: in the reflection of the water, his own face looked back at him, but now he had long, pointed ears and slightly shimmering eyelashes...

Looking around, Lo noticed that the forest had become brighter, and the sounds of nature sounded clearer. He felt light and free, as he never had before. Lo touched the trunk of an ancient tree, feeling its energy. He realized that his life had changed.
