Alastor

It was a cold night, the soft chirping of crickets blending with the quiet rustle of the wind through the trees.

"You seriously want to go for a swim in the lake?" Vincent muttered, walking beside Alastor as they headed toward the small lake near his cabin.

"You're acting as if you don't like my ideas—that's even stranger," Alastor murmured softly.

When they reached the water, Alastor let go of Vincent's hand and knelt down, touching the surface with his fingers before standing up again.

"Turn around," Alastor said calmly.

Vincent raised an eyebrow, tilting his head as his glasses slipped slightly. "Why? It's not like it's anything new."

Alastor gave him an unimpressed look, frowning slightly.

"Alright, alright," Vincent sighed, turning away to give him some privacy.

For a moment, there was only silence, followed by the quiet sounds of movement and the gentle ripple of water.

After a while, Vincent turned back. Alastor was already in the lake, leaning back slightly, the water reflecting the faint moonlight around him.
