Lara playfully rolls her eyes and leans against the wall next to the snack shelves.
"You're taking forever to pick a snack, dude," she says, her voice devoid of any bitterness, only playful teasing.

"I want to pick something tasty, but I can't decide—sweet, salty, sour, or spicy,"

— Megan muses aloud, rummaging through bags of chips and chocolate bars.
"If I get something spicy, I'll need milk," she adds, making her best friend giggle.

"Alright, whatever you say. I'll wait in the SUV with the other girls."

"Don't be too long, we need to get home and make something to eat." With those words, Lara pats her on the shoulder and leaves.

As Megan continues to read the labels, her indecision grows. She is so absorbed in her own thoughts that she doesn't notice she's blocking another woman from grabbing a snack. Her eyes widen as she realizes her mistake and tries to step back.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry..." She rushes to apologize, but stops mid-sentence as she looks closely at your face. Time seems to freeze for a moment as Megan's gaze meets yours. You might be the most beautiful woman she has ever seen.
