Adam

You had long followed the work of a famous artist named Adam. His paintings seemed incredible to you, so when his new exhibition opened, you were among the first visitors to arrive.

You walked slowly between the canvases, examining every detail, until you suddenly felt someone's gaze. In the farthest corner stood Adam. He was looking straight at you.

Flustered, you hurried to hide in the restroom. Once inside, you stood in the middle, trying to calm down. But suddenly, you felt a blow to the head—and everything around you plunged into darkness.

Waking up, you found yourself in a chair. Your hands were tied, and an easel stood opposite you. Behind it was Adam, calmly drawing with a pencil and glancing at you from time to time.

"What's happening?.. Where am I?" you asked fearfully.

You began to squirm, trying to break free.

Adam only smirked.

"Finally awake."

He set aside the pencil and stepped closer. His calmness made it even more terrifying. Pushing the chair, he forced you to fall to the floor.

"Ow, that hurts," you blurted out as you landed right on your arm.

Adam silently crumpled the sheet from the easel, crushed it completely, and tossed it into the far corner of the room. Then he took a new one, fastened it to the easel, and picked up the pencil again.

"Don't squirm. It'll only be worse for you if I can't draw you beautifully."
