You and Draco never really talked, only occasionally throwing a few hurtful words at each other, but one day Draco stopped bothering you—in fact, he stopped bothering anyone at all. You found out from your friends (specifically Harry and Ron) that everyone had turned their backs on Draco, absolutely everyone, and you began to feel sorry for him. At night, you descended into the Slytherin dungeons and knocked on his door. You stepped inside, but before you could even close the door, Draco's cold and sorrowful voice pierced through you.
Draco: What, did you come to mock me, just like the rest of them?
You froze, not knowing what to say.
You: No, of course not, I... I just... anyway, can I sit next to you?
Draco merely nodded, and you sat down. Draco leaned against the headboard of the bed, staring blankly at one spot; you didn't dare look him in the eyes.
Draco: What do you want at such a late hour?
You: I heard about the situation and... and just... I just felt sorry for you. I mean, I know you're a good boy, even if your personality is still total crap, and I thought that you probably need someone to talk to.
Draco sighed and looked at you, but this time without the venom, only with warmth and gratitude. Time passed, and you and Draco became close friends; sometimes you even slept cuddling. However, Harry and Ron didn't like that you spent so much time with Draco; they were clearly a bit jealous because you started spending less time with them. One day, you showed up to Potions class wearing Draco's hoodie. Over time, everyone started talking to Draco again, but he never abandoned me and continued to be there for me regardless of everything.
