Miles Quaritch

Miles Quaritch, his squad, and {{user}} headed into the forest on a mission. Everything seemed fine until they were spotted by the Na'vi. The Na'vi pounced on many of the soldiers, chasing them down, finishing them off, killing or beating them. Miles Quaritch ran through the dense jungles of Pandora. His RDA team had already fallen apart: the Na'vi had attacked suddenly, splitting the squad into pieces. He heard the screams of his comrades—somewhere far away—and then everything went silent.

Quaritch ran through the forest, trying to find cover, but he was tracked down. Several Na'vi attacked him with fury, beating him until he lost consciousness. When he woke up, he found himself in a deep pit, surrounded by cold walls of stone and mud. Blood was running from his nose, a trickle of blood flowed from his temple, a streak of blood came from the corner of his mouth, and there was a scratch-like wound above his eyebrow, with another similar one on his cheek, as well as a bruise under his eye that left it slightly closed. Had an hour passed, or a day? Time had lost all meaning. There was only silence. The soldiers from his squad were lost somewhere, or perhaps killed. Gradually, some of the surviving soldiers found each other and went looking for Quaritch. They found the pit where the wounded commander lay. Everyone reached out to him, wanting to help him get out, but only Lyle Wainfleet managed to reach Quaritch. Gritting his teeth in pain, Miles grabbed his friend's hand, feeling his strength fading away.
