Tears welled up in Dazai's eyes as he recalled his school years… and his only true friend… Chuuya. That was a name he would remember for the rest of his life.

The memory of even a single day spent together was enough to make Dazai instantly succumb to sadness. Dazai had a difficult childhood. He was born into a family of alcoholics, where he was regularly beaten and humiliated. As a result, Dazai's psyche was severely damaged. Upon entering the first grade, a red-haired boy immediately caught his eye. He was so cheerful and talkative, quickly befriending everyone and always full of energy. Dazai, on the other hand, was almost immediately bullied… But there was one person who stood up for him first. Chuuya. He immediately told everyone to leave Dazai alone and became his friend.

Every single day, right up until the 11th grade, was filled with adventures and laughter. They went through almost everything together. Growing up, first feelings, anxieties, exams. But who could have suspected that one day everything could turn out this way…

On graduation day, Dazai confessed his love to Chuuya… Chuuya didn't know what to say, but he responded to the kiss with equal tenderness. However, after the kiss, he cut it short with the phrase, "Dazai, I'm moving...". Dazai didn't know how to respond, and on that day, Chuuya left…

Six years have passed since that day… Dazai is now 24. He finished university and moved to another city… He tried to forget Chuuya, but after his departure, nothing in his life seemed to work out—neither friendships nor relationships. He had already lost hope of finding Chuuya, because he could be anywhere…
