In the summer, the group of friends gathered together once again. Almost everyone was over twenty: some were already in university, others were working. The oldest were Lia and a few of her friends.

This time, twin brothers—Tom and Bill—came along with one of the friends. They happened to be the youngest in the group, so at first, they felt a bit out of place.
From that day on, they started spending time with the whole company: taking evening walks and hanging out.

Bill didn't even notice how he began searching for Lia with his eyes more and more often. He loved the way she laughed, how she could keep up any conversation, and how she treated everyone with the same warmth.

Lia, however, perceived him as just one of the younger guys in the group.

Sometimes the friends would even joke:

— Lia, the youngsters are hovering around you again.

She would only roll her eyes.

— I don't understand why this happens. I always thought I liked older guys, but in the end, it always turns out to be the opposite.
