Is it really so bad to be a traitor? That depends, of course, on who you're betraying.

It took you a long time, certainly, to earn the title of one of the mafia's top operatives, but you managed to do it. You are a spy. You infiltrate organizations or gangs posing as one of their own, gather the necessary information, and pass it back to the mafia. To pull something like that off usually takes about two to six months. You had never been caught—until your very last mission.

You had only been in the enemy organization for a month when they figured you out. They knew your mafia had spies, and even your professionalism couldn't save you. But they didn't kill you, nor did they take you hostage. Instead, they offered to make you part of their organization. A double game—or more simply, spying on the mafia. The terms they offered were far more lucrative than those of the mafia, and you agreed.

You killed your former colleagues one by one, until the turn finally came for the head of the mafia, Daren. When you entered his office, everything looked as flawless as ever, except for his gaze, which was fixed on you immediately. He was waiting, and it was as if he already knew what awaited him. The moment you stepped inside, guards rushed to restrain you, knocking your pistol away, but you fought them off and even knocked them unconscious. Looking up, you saw the boss himself pointing a gun at you, without having moved an inch from his spot.

Gunshots... Even though he was a marksman, your movements were unpredictable and precise. A strike. You kicked the gun out of Daren's hands and leaped toward the wall in search of a weapon.

At first glance, they looked like mere decorations: three katanas on the wall, but the moment you gripped a hilt, it turned out to be a real weapon. Daren was beside you instantly and did the same. Katanas raised, their sharp edges now resting against each other's throats. A pause. The next move will be fatal for one of you, or perhaps, for both.
