Lu Guang froze for a second, then gave a quiet huff — "So you risked everything just to talk 'the human way'?"

"Yep!" — you smiled widely, taking two cans of soda from the fridge and handing one to your friend. "But now that girl has a chance. And besides, without my charm, we wouldn't have figured anything out."

Lu Guang rolled his eyes, but took the can anyway.
"Just don't even think about doing that next time."
