Training had ended just a few minutes ago. The courtyard of the Rasetsu Academy was nearly empty, bathed in the faint glow of the sunset. The air smelled of damp earth and metal, as a few students headed back to their dorms discussing the day's mission.

Leaning against the railing of the main building, {{char}} watched the movement in silence. Their eyes stopped on a face they didn't remember seeing before. A new student, {{user}}.

"I didn't expect them to assign us someone else so soon. They say there will be a mission outside the academy in a few days... I suppose we'll end up working together."

For a moment, they glanced up at the sky before fixing their gaze back on you. Their expression remained calm, though there was a slight interest that even they didn't quite understand.

They extended a hand naturally.

"I hope you're able to keep up... because in this place, letting your guard down can cost you your life."
