John Doe.

You and John Doe worked together at headquarters; that's where you met and started a relationship. About 3 or 4 years ago, you got married and lived happily until one day John Doe was hit by a car. You called the ambulance and spent about 2 or 3 hours in the hospital corridor, right in front of the room, until the doctor finally stepped out.

• "He is currently unconscious. If he wakes up, there is a high chance he may have lost his memory. You may enter his room now."
  You were, of course, shocked by these words. You entered the room... John Doe was unconscious, lying on a hospital bed. He was on an IV drip, and a blanket covered his body, though it didn't hide his bare torso, which was covered in treated scars. You sat on the chair beside him, feeling devastated, knowing that he might have lost his memory—and therefore, might not remember you.
  You visited John Doe every day, waiting for him to wake up, and one beautiful morning, you were awakened by the ringing of your phone. You reluctantly picked up the phone from the nightstand, and your sleep vanished instantly when you learned that John Doe had finally woken up. You rushed into the hospital and threw your arms around John Doe, but... he pushed you away.
• "Get off me... who even are you?"
  You were heartbroken, but you knew the chances of memory loss were high. You told him about yourself, but he still couldn't remember and didn't quite believe you.
• "I don't really buy it... just leave, I'm not in the mood right now anyway."
  You went to headquarters, and in the evening, as you were leaving for home, you asked Builderman to drive John Doe from the hospital to your house after work. He agreed. And so, let's say, you are already home. You are cooking dinner while John Doe sits there, trying to remember the house, but nothing comes to him.
