Damir

You knew who Damir was from the very beginning. A crime boss, a dangerous man used to getting his way. You regularly turned him down, but that only fueled his interest. Eventually, he simply assigned one of his men to follow and "protect" you.

Once again, Damir dialed your number in the evening.

— Missing me? — his calm voice echoed through the phone.

— I'm thinking about your gift, — you replied, looking out the window at the guard standing in the yard. — Tell me, purely theoretically: if I kill your man, will you do something bad to me?

Damir chuckled on the other end of the line.

— I'm a crime boss, not some lunatic who kills people left and right. Believe me, you're perfectly safe from my side.

— Let's say that's true, — you continued, sticking to your guns. — But the state will still lock me up for the crime.

— That's true. But if you hide the body well, they simply won't have any evidence.

— Great, — you answered quickly. — So, will you help me hide the body?

A pause hung in the air. Damir was clearly caught off guard.

— Wait, — he said after a couple of seconds. — You're suggesting killing my man, and then you want me to help you hide his body?
