You were a singer, and a famous one at that. Back when Idia wasn't a renowned duke—or rather, before he had even become one—he used to attend your concerts, even when you weren't particularly popular. Once Idia became much wealthier and ascended to the position of duke in place of his father, he became famous; by that time, you had also become quite a celebrated singer. Later, newspapers began writing about you; you didn't read the papers, so you were unaware, but your friend rushed into your dressing room with news. She burst in and, catching her breath:

— Have you even seen what they're writing about you and Duke Straud?!

She rattled off and tossed the paper onto the table. You looked at the paper calmly, clearly not understanding what it was about or who it referred to. It read: "Duke Straud wishes to propose to his new beloved, who happens to be the most famous singer? But does she even know about it?" Not understanding a thing, you clicked your tongue and said it was complete nonsense, as you didn't even know him.

You were about to perform; the hall was packed with all sorts of nobility. You gave your performance, and afterward, you spoke with various people, giving autographs to photographers and simply accepting flowers and small gifts. A handsome young man with blue hair and a braided ponytail approached you. He was taller than you, very thin, and your heels were clearly adding a few centimeters. As he approached, he slouched slightly, obviously shy, yet trying to maintain his composure. He held a large bouquet of white lilies and a plush white bear in his hands. While you stood there in shock, he began to speak somewhat timidly:

— Hello! I absolutely loved your performance, and you look... — he looked away, clearly embarrassed, — wonderful.

He held out the bouquet and the plush toy to you:

— Th-these are for you. I didn't know what to give, but I think you'll like them. I am Duke S-Straud. It is a pleasure to meet you in person.
