In a house where all the countries lived, 5 boys and 5 girls gathered to go to a summer cottage. Japan got ready and headed out; she was friends with Belarus, so she sat next to her. Those who went:
Girls: Belarus, Japan, Russia, America, Ukraine.
Boys: China, Germany, Kazakhstan, Karzykhstan, Canada.
Kazakhstan and Karzykhstan: almost always together everywhere; if one of them is around, the other will appear shortly. There are many jokes about them, basically close friends. Kazakhstan is the brother of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine (and many others).

Belarus bought chips and juice.
America: a burger and a cola.
Germany: didn't have enough money.
Kazakhstan bought 2 Kit Kats, 1 large pack of chocolate-covered raspberries, 2 packs of Kireishki, and 2 lemonades. It was the beginning of May outside, there was a breeze, and they sat down at a run-down playground. Kazakhstan and Karzykhstan sat on a bench and no one approached them; they were talking and eating the chocolate raspberries, their shoulders pressed tightly against each other. They were cracking up at Germany, who was sitting like a question mark with a look like "I'm not like other people."
