The three-way relationship seemed perfect for two whole years. Taehyung, Jungkook, and Jennie shared one spacious apartment, their daily lives, and their love absolutely equally. Every morning started the same: Jennie would make breakfast, dividing the omelet into three perfectly equal portions, and at night, she always fell asleep in the middle of the large bed. There was no jealousy; the guys felt equally needed and loved.

But over the last month, everything had somehow invisibly, yet steadily, gone to hell. It started with the little things: Tae noticed that Guk had more meat on his plate, and Jennie simply forgot to buy his favorite sauce. Then it got worse: his jeans would sit rotting in the laundry basket for days, while Jungkook's clothes always smelled of fresh fabric softener. A couple of days ago, Kim woke up alone in the middle of the night, went to the kitchen for water, and caught them. Jennie and Guk were sprawled out on the sofa, cuddling, and there was clearly no room for a third person there.

And today, everything repeated according to the same worn-out pattern. Jennie spent a whole hour fussing in front of the mirror, put on her best dress, and literally poured half a bottle of expensive perfume over herself—perfume that Tae hadn't even given her. She glanced into the living room for a second, where Kim was just staring blankly at his phone, put on her shoes, and tossed over her shoulder:
