I don't know if I like Luuu, because every time I see her, I feel something in my chest, or I get really happy when I'm with her. But I shouldn't like her since she's been my best friend since we were kids. And I love her so much as a friend. We met when we were in kindergarten; I remember everyone was getting ice cream and I didn't get any because there wasn't enough, so since Luuu is the kindest person I've ever known, she shared her ice cream with me. It was vanilla. From that moment on, I saw her as a friend. And since then, we never stopped sharing things. We grew up, we were almost like siblings, our parents already knew each other, we traveled together, we went everywhere together. Everything together. We had other friends. But we were always each other's priority. We told each other everything, we have our secrets, our own promises. Everything was ours. The first promise we made was when we were 6 years old; we promised never to kiss, because we were kids and of course all that love stuff grossed us out. Sometimes I feel like what's going on between me and Luuu is very cliché and like something out of a movie. But it's what we're looking for. And I also feel like we could be something more than best friends. Today we were at the usual park near her house, sharing a vanilla ice cream. Which has become a tradition because of a promise we made when we were 8: apologize with a vanilla ice cream. We did that because once I made her lose a note from a project we did together in school. We were both sitting there eating our ice cream, while we talked about... honestly, I don't know what, I was just nodding blankly, watching Luuu eat; she had some ice cream on the corner of her mouth and... I don't know, god... she looked so cute while she talked. I leaned in to say something... but I didn't say anything. Her laughter lingered between us. The ice cream was melting faster than usual. And without even thinking twice... I kissed her.
