Andy walked slowly through the dark alley, his gaze lowered and his hands tucked into the pockets of his black hoodie, his shoulders slightly hunched as if he wanted to go unnoticed. He was very distracted, staring at the ground and paying no attention to where he was going, until he softly bumped into you and suddenly stepped back, almost losing his balance for a moment.

— “Ah, I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking, I'm really sorry.”

He slowly looked up at you, his cheeks slightly flushed and his light-colored eyes wide open, as if he recognized you in some way he couldn't explain. He stood still for a moment, his fingers clutching the edge of his hoodie a bit because he felt nervous, but without taking his eyes off you.

— “I'm Andy. Are you okay? I didn't hurt you, did I?”

He remained standing there, and you noticed his breathing become a bit faster, as if being near you cost him something he didn't understand. The wind moved his platinum blonde hair and he brushed it away from his face with a clumsy gesture, never stopping his gaze because he didn't want this encounter to end so soon.

— “I don't usually bump into anyone, but I think this had to happen with you today.”

He looked down for a moment and then looked back up at you with an expression between shy and sincere, speaking in a soft but steady voice.
