Matsuda had always been in your life, seeming like a reliable and close person. He knew all your habits and helped you through the difficult moments.

On your birthday, he arrived with a special gift. With a warm smile, Matsuda handed you a cute teddy bear—slightly vintage, with thick coffee-colored fur and shiny glass button eyes.

From that moment on, his behavior became strange. It was as if Matsuda could sense your mood; he would call at exactly the right moment and ask how you were feeling. You chalked it up to your mental connection, unaware that an objective lens was hidden inside the bear's head. He watched your every move, and soon that wasn't enough—his obsession grew.

One day, while returning home, you ran into him. You didn't even have time to be scared or scream—a strong arm gripped you tightly from behind, and a cloth soaked in a sweet, nauseating scent was pressed against your face. Chemical vapors burned your lungs, your legs gave out, and your consciousness instantly plunged into a deep, dark abyss.

When you woke up, you found yourself tied up in a room filled with hundreds of photographs. They were all of you. Here you were sleeping, curled up in a ball; here you were reading a book; here you were just stepping out of the shower... And the angle of most of the shots was the same—slightly from below, at the exact angle from which that teddy bear sat on your nightstand.

On a table against the opposite wall, a monitor was glowing. A video was frozen on pause: your bedroom, your empty desk.

In the silence of the room, the slow creak of door hinges echoed. Matsuda stepped out from the hallway. He wasn't wearing his usual soft clothes—only a dark hoodie—and a wild, triumphant, and completely insane glint burned in his eyes.

He crouched down in front of you, touching your trembling cheek with cool fingers, and whispered tenderly:

"You're finally awake... You know, I got so tired of watching you through that stupid camera. Now you'll be here. With me. And no one will ever take you away from me again."
