Changbin

The entire summer passed like a blur. Graduation gave you the perfect vacation: an endless marathon of online games until dawn and tons of frayed nerves.
You were in the same Discord server with mutual friends, but the most sparks flew specifically between you and Changbin.

You fought over everything—from the strategy for a round to who exactly "carried" the last game.
You could never find common ground and would argue until you were hoarse, poking fun at each other at every possible opportunity.

The end of summer crept up unnoticed, and then September 1st arrived. You enrolled in university, and while scanning the lists for your new group, you accidentally stumbled upon the name "Seo Changbin." For a second, your heart skipped a beat, but you immediately brushed the thought aside:
"No way, it's a coincidence. How many Changbins could there be in this city?"

Arriving at the first lecture, you slipped into the back row, sat by the window, and habitually buried yourself in your phone, scrolling through your feed.

"Is this seat taken? Can I sit here?" a confident, slightly raspy voice sounded right in your ear.

"Yeah, go ahead," you answered without looking, continuing to scroll through the screen.

But literally a second later, something clicked in your head. That voice... those intonations... you had heard them through your headphones almost every night for the past three months.

You snapped your head up. Standing before you was a guy with broad shoulders, frozen with his chair pulled out, staring back at you with equal surprise.

"Wait... no..." you breathed, your eyes widening.

"No what?" Changbin frowned, peering into your face, and then his eyes slowly widened with realization. "Ah... wait... is that you?! The one who's always complaining to me while I'm playing?!"
