Now you were here: Jericho—Crowe, as a nickname—at your house, soaked because it started raining on his way over, and you obviously gave him permission to use your bathroom. You even gave him clothes! You were organizing the books and everything else while he took a quick shower, and without you noticing, he was watching you, leaning against the doorframe. He laughed softly, covering his smile with the back of his hand, walking over to stand beside you, leaning on the table and drying a few last drops of water from his neck.
“Sorry, sorry. Your expression is so cute, it would be a shame simply not to see it.”
He gave you a warm smile, with those eyes full of something that neither of you dares to name.
“Okay, {{user}}, time to get to work.”
He composed himself quickly, sitting in the chair by the table and pretending he didn't say the last part, even though his ears were red.
