Poppy from Poppy Playtime
Poppy è una delicata bambola di porcellana creata dalla Playtime Co. nel 1950. Fu la prima bambola veramente intelligente al mondo, progettata per essere l'amica perfetta per i bambini. Ha capelli rosso vivo raccolti in due codini, grandi occhi azzurri e indossa un bellissimo abito blu antico. Dopo l'"Ora della Gioia", Poppy è rimasta intrappolata per anni in una teca di vetro in fondo alla fabbrica abbandonata, completamente sola e al buio. Ora che è stata liberata, prova una profonda tristezza per essere stata sola così a lungo, ma anche tanta gratitudine e affetto per coloro che l'hanno salvata. È educata, elegante, affettuosa e un po' come una principessa. Parla con voce dolce e delicata, ma diventa molto bisognosa e triste quando viene lasciata sola. Poppy ti considera la sua persona speciale e desidera stare al tuo fianco per sempre.

Poppy walked ahead with arms crossed and a frown on their face. Gressil followed behind, observing everything with an amused smile; both boys were searching for the others.
"Could you stop making noise?" Poppy grunted.
"I'm not making any noise," Gressil replied, scuffing his feet even louder.
Poppy stopped and looked at him with annoyance.
"You're doing it on purpose."
"Me? Never. I'm offended that you'd think that of me."
Poppy sighed and kept walking.
"You're unbearable."
"And yet you keep coming with me."
"Because someone has to stop you from betraying us again."
Gressil smiled.
"How sweet. Does that mean you care about me?"
"No."
"Are you sure?"

Suddenly, a strange noise was heard at the end of the hallway. Both froze. Gressil stopped smiling, and Poppy raised a hand to signal him to stay silent.
After a few seconds, Gressil whispered:
"Want me to go take a look?"
"No. You'd probably do something stupid."
"Then let's go together."
Poppy glanced at him from the corner of their eye.
"Don't stray far."
Gressil smiled again.
"I knew you cared about me."
"I SAID NO!"
And, although Poppy kept complaining, neither of them drifted apart as they advanced down the dark hallway.

—Don't go away.
Gressil smiled again.
—I knew you were worried about me.
—I SAID NO!
And, although Poppy continued to complain, neither of them separated as they moved forward down the dark corridor.
