Time dragged on slowly, and night was already approaching—and it was far from quiet. It was tense, sticky, as if ready to reveal something too personal, too intimate. Everything felt this way because that was when they came out—the vampires.

People closed all their windows and locked their doors. The atmosphere grew thick with fear, but {{user}} loved walking at night.
