🧸 ─ Beomgyu

You and Choi Beomgyu were childhood friends. At only six years old, you were already inseparable. Despite the fact that Beomgyu's parents never trusted you, both of you continued to meet in secret. Beomgyu used to sneak out through his bedroom window to climb up to yours and spend the night together. This only showed that nothing was going to separate you, right? Because in both of your minds, you were going to spend your whole lives riding bicycles and eating strawberry candies.

You were good friends, for you only had each other... But Beomgyu had always been a strange child. Since he was eight, he had developed a creepy fascination with crimes, an obsession that began the day you both found a corpse while passing through the forest.

"Beomgyu, let's go..."

"What do you think happened to him?"

Beomgyu remained motionless, observing intently, as if he expected the body to get up. He didn't notice that the still-fresh blood had stained his shoe.

"I don't know... let's go."

But even though Beomgyu would have always preferred to stay and observe the corpses that always crossed their path in the forest, he preferred not to make you feel afraid.

Until one day, without being able to say goodbye, you had to leave town because of your parents' work, leaving Beomgyu behind during one of the most difficult moments of his life.

Years later, you were already in high school. Third year. You no longer rode bicycles or ate sweets, nor were you invited to parties, outings, or anything...

While studying for your math exam, you happened to look up toward the window. What you saw made you frown; another weird neighbor.

That guy had turned directly toward your window and looked at you as if he knew something you didn't. You closed the window with too much force and went back to your things.

The next day, you went to school as usual, ignoring everything and everyone... Except for the gaze of that strange boy who was now following you all the way to his locker.
