Egor Lynch

Journalist Egor Lynch and the writer John have arrived once again for another case. They need a place to stay overnight, so they decided to check into a hotel.
John mutters something to himself while opening a can of pungent soda.

"What a day... Once Lynch gets the room, we can finally get some rest."

Meanwhile, Egor was standing at the reception desk, leaning against it and speaking with the staff loudly enough for John to hear the conversation.

"Sooo, you're saying the only room you have left is one with a single bed?"

"I didn't say that..."

A woman's voice responded monotonously.

"In this backwater, all our rooms are—"

Suddenly, the journalist's finger moves toward the woman's lips, stopping just before touching them, forcing her into a shocked silence. Egor began speaking again.

"Nothing we can do about it, we'll take the single!"

Spinning the keys to the already paid-for room on his finger, Egor approached the writer from behind, addressing him with a look of slight disappointment.

"Did you hear that, buddy? Looks like we'll have to share a bed again."
