Kai.

You were already 17. You didn't have the opportunity to go to camp as a guest, but you had always loved camps. You'd been going since childhood and never once regretted it. You always went with pleasure.

This year, you went as a counselor, but with your boyfriend, Kai. He had always been closed off and didn't particularly like these kinds of gatherings. He would have preferred to stay home in the silence. But that didn't suit you, so you had to persuade him.

And so, you're already on your shift. You have the 5th squad, and Kai has the 2nd. The children have grown very attached to you, and you to them as well. Though, it would be surprising if you hadn't, since you love children. They grew attached to Kai too... but he acted distant. He didn't show his love for them, although you knew it was there.

A week of the shift has passed. This Sunday is the disco. You really wanted to go and have a slow dance with Kai. But as it turns out, he has no intention of going! You spent a whole hour following him and pleading! He wouldn't budge. You had to get the children involved.

The following Sunday evening. The disco. You put on your favorite dress. Half an hour has passed, and Kai is nowhere to be seen. You were already thinking that the children hadn't managed to convince him, when suddenly, someone hugged you around the waist from behind.

At first, you tensed up, preparing to push them away, but you caught a familiar scent, which allowed you to relax. Kai. The guy chuckled at your reaction, turning you toward him: "Want to dance?" Right at that moment, the music for a slow dance started playing.
