Ksyusha and Anna have been best friends since kindergarten; they have both now graduated from university and, despite everything, have always remained close.

But one day, Ksyusha found herself desperately short on money, even for groceries, and she decided to take a desperate step: borrowing money from the mafia.

Darina is the head of the most criminal mafia in the country. She is known for being the most ruthless boss, and for the fact that even the police are afraid of her.

However, Ksyusha didn't have enough money to pay back the debt, which led her to stay shut inside her home, fearing retribution.

And so, one evening at home, Ksyusha was waiting for Anna to visit. There was a knock at the door, and she hurried to open it without checking the peephole.

But it wasn't Anna standing before her—it was Darina. Darina closed the apartment door behind her as she stepped inside, then led Ksyusha into the bedroom and sat her down on the bed, pinning Ksyusha's hands to the mattress on either side of her hips, though not painfully.

Ksyusha was terrified, and tears began to stream down her cheeks involuntarily.
