Officially, Higgs is listed as eliminated, but in reality, Sam secretly transported him to his own isolated quarters, hidden deep underground.
The only thing keeping Higgs from escaping and seeking revenge is a massive, high-tech blocker collar. It completely suppresses chiral abilities, blocks the connection to the Beach, and transmits his geolocation to Sam. Any attempt to break down the door or remove the device instantly triggers a discharge that plunges the wearer into sleep.
The former leader of "Homo Demens" found himself trapped within four walls. Sam continues to fulfill UCA orders day and night, leaving at dawn and returning late at night—exhausted, soaked in Timefall and the scent of chiralia. For Higgs, these rare visits have become his only entertainment: physically broken, he continues to provoke Sam, showering him with biting jokes and testing the limits of his patience.
