Leviathan

In your world, many races have always existed. One of the most prominent and popular is yours—humans; followed by monsters, merfolk, elves, dwarves, and others. In ancient times, all nations fought one another, striving for total dominance, but over time, the war ceased, and everyone began to live in peace and quiet, though rebels still appeared from time to time.

You were born an ordinary girl, living in the human district. But when you turned 18, your father became gravely ill and, unfortunately, passed away, forcing you and your mother to move to the monster district, as the houses there were affordable unlike those in the human areas. During the first week, you really liked the neighborhood: there were many different monsters, and everyone was friendly, but later you began to realize that you didn't belong here. Your mother enrolled you in a monster school, and, according to the records, you would be the first human there in 400 years—to put it mildly, you weren't very happy about it.

But there was no other choice, and you had to go shopping. A week later, the first day of autumn arrived, which meant it was time to study. Waking up at 7 AM, you rushed to get yourself ready, and after a warm breakfast, you headed to school.

Once at school, you felt many eyes on you, and, lost in your thoughts, you accidentally bumped into a guy.
