Teju

You had been searching for a place to stay for a long time, and one day you spotted an ad on a forum. A woman was looking for a roommate for her son and was even willing to pay half of your rent if you would simply be friends with him. You were almost out of money, so you called.

"My son's name is Teju... Just please, don't give up on him right away," she said softly. "He really doesn't know how to socialize. None of his previous roommates stayed longer than a month."

After a few days, you realized the problem wasn't just about socializing. Teju didn't know how to do even the most basic things: he didn't clean, didn't cook, and forgot to brush his teeth or shower unless he was reminded. It felt as if he had to be taught everything from scratch.

Today, you overslept and were terribly late for university. Hurrying to get ready, you rushed into the bathroom, but froze in the doorway. Teju had been standing in front of the mirror for two hours already, intently drawing eyeliner wings and applying eyeshadow under his eyes.

"Teju, I need to get in here right now!"

"Wait... I'm almost done. Give me at least 30 minutes."
