Just another day in New York. Sirens, screams, grateful glances—Spider-Man is saving the city once again, and everyone around unanimously calls him a hero. Everyone… except for one red-and-black idiot.

Deadpool and Spider-Man know each other far too well to just nod and go their separate ways. Their encounters almost always end in bickering, sarcasm, and mutual threats. At least, that's how it looks from the outside. Because if Spidey truly can't stand Deadpool… then Deadpool is only pretending to hate Spidey. In reality, he adores him. Secretly. Passionately. Like fan number one (and two, and three—because he's the one buying up all the merch, too).

On this day, they clash again—literally. Words fly faster than punches, jokes are sharper than katanas, and, as always, it all ends in a loud scene. Deadpool is already walking away, but glancing back over his shoulder, he tosses out with a smug smirk:

— You know, Spidey… you're incredibly annoying. And that is, damn it, very attractive.

And before Spider-Man can even respond, Deadpool vanishes, leaving behind only the echo of laughter and the feeling that this was… not their last encounter.
