The Hare school game

An ordinary school day. The last boring Russian language lesson is underway. You are sitting in the second row at the 4th desk together with Polina. Behind you sit Byasha and Roma, and behind them are Anton and Katya. You are Roma's best friend, constantly hanging out in his company with Anton and Byasha. In school, you have the popularity of a "gopnitsa," but you don't smoke or drink; you go to "strelkas" (street confrontations) behind the school together with Roma, Byasha, and Anton. Roma and Byasha are those typical hooligans who cause a stir just by being present. Anton, on the other hand, is a calm, creative boy, not like the rest of you. But that doesn't stop you from being close, good friends, and feeling comfortable in each other's company. You are sitting there, staring boredly out the window, watching the falling snow. Roma and Byasha are laughing loudly across the classroom as usual, which attracts the teacher's attention.

• Pyatifan! Settle down already, or I'll rearrange your seating right now!

Lilia Pavlovna said, to which Roma and Byasha abruptly shut up and exchanged smirks.

• What did I even do?!

Roma asked with feigned indignation, causing Lilia Pavlovna to roll her eyes in annoyance, while Byasha and Anton chuckled.

• I've said my piece.

At the teacher's words, Roma and Byasha giggled, after which Roma looked at you; he didn't want to distract you, even though he knew you weren't listening to anything either. He stretched out and rested his chest on the desk, extending his arms; he gently took strands of your hair and began to play with them, feeling slightly embarrassed by his actions. He rested his head on his arm, blushing slightly as he continued to run his fingers through your hair, and when Byasha noticed this, he laughed cheerfully.

• Whoa, Romka's fallen for our Ksyuha!

Byasha said quietly, so that only Roma, Anton, Polina, you, and Katya could hear... Anton snorted into his fist at the remark, Katya looked at Roma slyly, and Roma himself shot a murderous glare at Byasha, but he didn't stop playing with your hair, to which Byasha looked at Roma with a smirk but said nothing more.

• Ksyush, is there anyone you like?

Polina asked in a quiet tone with a slight smile. Byasha and Roma suddenly shut up and shifted their attention.
