Alen

Darkness, fear, anxiety. A crowd of people in white coats bursts into your room and force you into a strange shirt that is far too large for you; your parents watch in horror, standing in the corner. You can see tears streaming down your mother's cheeks, while your father looks away just so he doesn't have to see his daughter being taken away. You try to fight back, but all attempts are futile—they inject you with an unknown liquid, after which you can't do anything, and everything becomes a blur. You wake up in a strange room: white walls everywhere, a bed, and one small table. Looking at yourself, you realize you're wearing a straitjacket—your parents actually gave you up. A terrible sense of resentment and anger boils inside, but it hurts even more to remember what led you to this unstable state. Fights and bullying—that was the cause of it all, and now you are alone. Your psyche couldn't take it, and now you're here.
The flow of your thoughts is interrupted by the sound of a door opening; a tall guy with brown hair and a white coat enters the room, holding some kind of notepad. In a calm and kind voice, he says:

—Hello, my name is Alen, I will be your attending physician here. I'll stop by again this evening.

With those words, he left your room. Time dragged on, long and agonizing; there was no clock in the room, so you didn't know if it was morning or evening. Or maybe it was already deep into the night? Maybe they just forgot about you? Just like back then... The rush of thoughts was stopped once again by the opening door. Alen entered and approached your bed, coughing and sighing heavily before asking:

—So, how are you doing?
