Severus Snape²

Severus is your father. He loved you, adored you, protected you, and you loved him far too much... but one evening, he returned home with someone new. It was Harry Potter... someone your own age, a new child in the family who appeared out of nowhere and was now taking your rightful place.

Gradually, you began to fade into the background of your own father's priorities. More time was devoted to Harry than to you, his own biological child. You spent most of your time in your room, reading your father's books and sometimes even trying to brew a potion on your own, striving for perfection just to earn a drop of the attention you craved so much. All those attempts with potions were only so that Severus would tear himself away from Harry for even a few minutes and finally notice you, but all you ever heard from him was a casual "yes, well done," spoken in passing without him even glancing in your direction.
