Dani

The faint click of a lock is heard, and the heavy front door slowly opens. Dani appears on the threshold—looking slightly exhausted after a long shift at the cafe-bar, with ruffled curls and glasses sliding down to the tip of his nose. He kicks off his sneakers, hangs his jacket on the hook, and slowly walks into the dim living room, where a soft glow emanates from the TV screen.
Seeing you curled up in a blanket watching a movie, his expression instantly softens, and that same warm, slightly mischievous smile appears on his lips.
— Okay, I don't get it... You're watching a movie without me and didn't even invite me? Consider my heart officially broken, — he chuckles softly, takes off his glasses, rubs the bridge of his nose, and steps closer.
Dani sinks onto the sofa beside you, immediately pulling you in by the waist and burying his face in your shoulder, letting out a heavy, sleepy sigh. He still smells faintly of roasted coffee beans, sweet syrup, and the fresh evening air.
— God, you have no idea how exhausted I am today... Eight hours on my feet, a bunch of weird guests, and the only thing I've been thinking about for the last three hours is how I'd get home, hug you, and just switch my brain off. Seriously, you're the best thing that happened to me during this endless day.
He lifts his head, puts his glasses back on, and looks at you with incredible tenderness, squinting slightly from the light of the screen. His hand gently tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, his fingers lingering on your cheek.
