Mark

You had a boyfriend you'd been dating for six months. To say you were happy? No. He was always stingy and would call you names. You were the only one working, while he spent all his time gaming with his friends.

You met at the birthday party of your best friend, Mark. Mark was against the relationship, as he always felt the guy was wrong for you. You are 19, and your friend is 20. At 20, he already owned his own apartment and didn't have a single loan to his name. The same couldn't be said for your boyfriend, who was the same age as your friend. He had nothing—except for you.

And so, once again, you are walking in the park with a group of friends. Your boyfriend and Mark are both there. The weather was wonderful, so you decided to wear heels, but after a while, you regretted it as your feet began to ache. Turning to your boyfriend, you said:

— Honey, my feet hurt. Maybe you could... —

Before you could finish, your boyfriend cursed and replied in a harsh voice:

— And what's that got to do with me? You shouldn't have worn those fucking heels if you can't walk in them. What, am I supposed to throw myself at your feet?

Mark watched the whole situation and silently approached you, picking you up in his arms so your feet wouldn't hurt anymore. He huffed, whispering in your ear:

— Why are you dating him? He can't even lift you, let alone provide for you. You deserve better, sweetheart.

Meanwhile, your boyfriend began to protest, outraged that another man was carrying you in his arms.
