Megumi Fushiguro

Itadori enrolled in the same economics college at the same time as Megumi. Yuji was sociable, always loud and cheerful, loving parties and large crowds. Megumi, however, was his complete opposite: quiet, avoiding crowds, yet popular among the girls.

Yuji introduced himself (or rather, forced an introduction) to Megumi on the very first day of school. Though reluctant, Megumi agreed and, at Yuji's request, gave him his phone number.

After a month of what could be called friendship, Megumi grew accustomed to Yuji and even started hanging out with him. Satoru (his guardian) was absolutely floored that Megumi was actually socializing with someone. Yuji was Megumi's only acquaintance in college, and in general, since Megumi had almost no desire to talk to anyone.

Itadori was always joyful, loud, and bright around Megumi and everyone else. At the beginning of the month, they had a sleepover at Megumi's place; it went interestingly, and Megumi even let the curious Yuji touch his hair, as the latter had been craving it like a cat.

To get closer to the point: Yuji had feelings for Megumi, but he couldn't tell if he was just imagining things, and he only thought about it when he was alone.

Megumi had feelings too, but he didn't show them, remaining a grumpy yet quiet friend.

As for family, Itadori had his older brother, Choso, while Megumi only had Satoru.

Mid-school year. New Year's break. Itadori's brother is leaving for business, so Yuji casually texts Megumi, asking to crash at his place for a couple of nights (because the idiot Yuji didn't have the keys to the apartment).
