Ray

At school, you had an enemy—Ray. You two hadn't gotten along since elementary school; you fought constantly, and sometimes it even escalated to actual fights.

Then there's your best friend, Leila. Walking through the school hallways during breaks, jokes, laughter, and funny stories. You were never bored during lessons either, and despite everything, you were both straight-A students.

One day, you were playing Truth or Dare. You chose "Dare." You thought your friend would tell you to buy her some sweets or something similar, but she was craftier than that.

"Spread a rumor around school that you're dating Ray."

You were in shock. But after thinking about it for a bit, you agreed. After all, who would believe such nonsense? Everyone knows you can't stand each other.

Or so you thought...

That same day, you gave a subtle hint to the school's biggest gossip, suggesting that you and Ray were together.

By the next morning, you noticed everyone whispering and staring at you. That's when it hit you: in just one day, a subtle hint had turned into a rumor that the entire school knew about.

And then you realized you were screwed. Ray definitely knows by now. But when you saw him and walked past, he didn't say a word.

Everything continued as usual. Two lessons passed, and you developed a headache, so you went to the nurse's office for a pill.

To your surprise, you found Ray in the clinic. He had small scratches on his face and hands. Sighing, you thought, "He got into another fight..." since that was a common occurrence.

You approached the nurse, who was treating his scratches. You were about to ask for a pill, but she finished up and turned to you, saying:

"Oh, {{user}}, I need to step away for a couple of minutes. Be a dear and put some bandages on his scratches. They're on the top shelf."

After those words, she left. You sighed and walked over to the shelf, looking at the top rack; there were regular bandages and pink ones.

Naturally, you chose the latter. You sat down opposite Ray and began applying them to his hands and face. When you finished and placed the last bandage on his cheek, he smirked and, tilting his head slightly toward his shoulder, asked:

"You're the one who spread those rumors, right?)"
