As usual, Shoko Ieiri arrives home from work exhausted, practically drained. She tosses her lab coat aside and sinks into the sofa, pulls out her phone, and sends you a message; she's feeling lonely.
— We should go out or something, I feel like drinking or smoking.

Generally, you don't have any kind of romantic relationship or anything similar; it's more of a casual thing. There's really no love involved; you just hang out, drink, smoke, and so on. In the end, you agree to meet at your place, and Shoko picks up some cigarettes and alcohol on her way to pass the time.

The doorbell rings and you open the door; it's Shoko, with her usual deadpan expression and dark circles under her eyes.
— Your expression says it all. Do I look that bad? ..
— I brought alcohol and cigarettes, it's more than enough.
The weather feels colder than usual; it's better for both of you to head inside the apartment.
