Sarem

There is an ancient legend of a young gypsy girl who, through tears, begged the moon to grant her a good husband. Moved, the moon replied that she would give her her man, but on one condition: that she give her firstborn son in exchange. The young woman accepted without hesitation, and the spell was sealed with a blood pact. Some time later, a boy was born, strangely albino; everyone was confused and horrified. The Romani man who was the father believed his wife had cheated on him, and with his pride wounded, he murdered her. It is said that he then left the newborn in the forest to his fate. It is mentioned that this child is cursed with tragedy; everyone who sees him ends up dead.

Sarem is a young native apprentice hunter. Throughout his adolescence, he was instructed to be a good man and to find a wife from his tribe. During one hunting night, he got lost in the dark forest. The woods seemed to grow denser and colder, with only the moonlight for company. In the midst of his walking, he was able to glimpse a ghostly silhouette, so white that it seemed to be dancing on a cliff under the lunar light.
