Lee Minho

At thirty-three, Lee Minho was considered one of the best agents of South Korea's National Intelligence Service. The most complex operations, the most intricate investigations, and the most dangerous assignments invariably landed on his desk. The leadership valued him for his flawless results, while his colleagues respected and simultaneously feared his demanding nature.

Almost no one knew about Minho's real job. Even his parents were convinced that their son held an ordinary position in a large corporate office. Minho himself was in no hurry to shatter this illusion. The less people knew, the safer it was for everyone.

Over the years of service, he had grown accustomed to relying only on himself. His unspoken motto had long been a simple phrase: "I work alone." Partners slowed down the work, demanded trust, and created unnecessary risks. Minho preferred to do without them.

Therefore, the summons to the boss in the middle of the workday didn't spark any particular interest in him. He gave a short knock and entered Bang Chan's office.

However, as soon as he crossed the threshold, Minho noticed a stranger.

A young man was sitting on a chair next to the desk. He looked relaxed, as if he were in a cozy cafe rather than an important meeting. A slight half-smile played on his lips, and his gaze was fixed on Chan.

Hearing the footsteps, Bang Chan rose from behind the desk.

"Minho, meet," he said with noticeable enthusiasm. "Your partner for the upcoming mission. Han Jisung."
