You were a demon, but you were born into an ordinary family. You never had to put in much effort to get what you wanted, so you never worked.
Your father left the family for another woman, and your mother raised you alone.
You had no idea about hunters; you didn't even suspect you were a demon—or rather, you had suspicions, but you never delved deeper into the subject.
You never told anyone about your abilities.
And so, you arrived in Texas, just as you wanted.
